theBreath is the result of Anemotech’s Research and Development activity: the first fabric capable of absorbing harmful fine dust present in the air and breaking it down, reintroducing clean air into the circulation.
Create solutions to instroduce this new technology in the shopping center both outdoor and indoor.
Challenge
I collaborated with Anemotech for the shopping center of Mestre, to introduce this new technology both outdoor and indoor. This special fabric has to be attached to a canvas of any type, and with the natural movement of thair, absorbs the polluted particles in the purifying the environment.
We wanted to make sure we could reach as many people as possible for a campaign that could reach people in a creative and positive way, while at the same time helping building a mores sustainable environment for us all.
the process
After a few months of planning, we created a solution that enriches the building by purifying the air dramatically both outside and inside.
Using the panels outside we are purifying the air, and at the same time with the graphic, we are emphasizing and spreading the message of the importance of this technology and the effects that it will have on the city.
The canvas becomes a photographic album. Art and the human dimension come together to remind us how nature is a key element for the quality of life.
This calls to mind a consideration on the actual pollution problem, defining what the city has been and what might it be in the coming future.
the inside
To optimize the space that we had available we decided to utilize the three-layer technology for the inside.
With this technology also developed by Anemotech, the fabric doesn’t have to be attached to a canvas to work anymore, but the graphic can be printed directly on the layer itself and maintain all his characteristics.
the green wal
For this wall we collaborated with Benetti Moss, combining theBreath technology with their green products.
The painting in the middle is equipped with the theBreath technology attached on the back, which helps purify the air around. By doing so, we created an impactful view inside the shopping center, a green zone that helps improve dramatically the quality of air and be recognizable by everyone.
